Funniest Bus Tour to Bruges and Ghent

My friend and I were hesitant on going on a tour but we decided to go for it and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made during our trip. Our tour guide was “Jamal”. It’s says it all. Having Jamal as your tour guide means it’s going to be filled with a lot of historical information and laughter. Usually talking about history, especially during the dark times, should be sad or shocking but Jamal decided to light up the mood and add some jokes and lots of puns in his storytelling tour. What I really appreciated was that he rushed (not too much) with the walking tour because he wanted to give us as much time as we can to explore and try the delicious foods during our 2 hr free time. For example, we would walk by a waffle area but Jamal motivated us to hold in our urges, finished up the tour, and then tell us where we can do to find some affordable yet good quality waffles, beer, and chocolates. He is definitely one of my favorite tour guides during my trip. I would definitely come back to Belgium and would love to have him as my tour guide again. 

Fantastic tour with knowledgable, friendly, and funny guide

I was on a short work-related trip to Brussels and had an extra day to explore, so I booked a last minute day trip to Bruges and Ghent. First, I was thrilled to get a spot at the last minute, as most of the other reputable tour companies were full. Second, my guide was fantastic! Jamal had a great sense of humor and provided us with interesting information in an entertaining and enjoyable manner. I really appreciated his deep knowledge of architecture and all of the little known interesting facts that you can’t find in a tour book. He also gave us time to explore what we were interested in on our own, so I was able to see some amazing works (Picasso, Dali, Miro) when others in the group wanted to do other things. Jamal was very patient and kept us on time. I feel like I saw Bruges and Ghent and got an intimate and unique educational experience.

Excellent tour. Best guide ever

The tour was so well thought out. Bruges is beyond pictoresque, engaging you by its every nook and cranny but what especially made my day was the tour guide – mr Jamal. He was very eloquent, intelligent and funny and definitely made our tour special. He made every story interesting with his own special sense of humour and communicated with us along the way. Can’t recommend this tour enough.

Took daytrip to Bruge from Brussels. Tour guide Jamal was excellent. Very knowledgeable and funny. He was very organized and shared many fun facts. Answered questions and had a great sense of humour. The tour is very fast paced. Some older participants had difficulty with the walking. It is fast, busy and over cobblestones. I was able to keep up and enjoyed the tour. Would highly recommend if you have a short amount of time and really want to see all the highlights of Bruges.

The tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Jamal was very knowledgeable and gave information in a interactive way, he was also very helpful. I strongly recommend him it is above and beyond expectation. Bruges can be called Belgium Venice with layers of channels, numerous arched bridge, unique Architecht and great built structures that survived in natural hazards. Visit Bruges in a day if you don’t have much time.

Bruges é uma cidade encantadora pelas suas paisagens e construções. Quando entramos naquela cidade a sensação foi que estávamos a entrar num cenário de um filme épico. A cidade está recheada de comércio de venda chocolates deliciosos e waffles maravilhosas. Quando entramos naquela cidade em outubro foi impossível não lembrar da época de Natal. Aconselho vivamente a visitarem esta cidade encantadora com cheirinho a waffles e chocolate.
