Today started early for a Sunday. At 7:00, I was already on my way to the Centraal Station to pick up the group for the tour today. We started at Bargeplein by the love lake. The visit today at Beguine was special while it was covered with a yellow carpet of leaves. The tour got on to the city that was covered totally by a fog. We hardly saw the shape of the highest point of Bruges: The Belltower of Our Lady Church of Notre Dame du Bruges. We moved to the flower market after a robust analysis of the Gruuthuis city museum architecture and its sculptures. We found the flower bouquet filled with water to keep it fresh. Then we moved to take the group picture then we moved further in exploring Bruges.
After the end of the tour, we agreed to enjoy lunch together all in Old Bruges restaurant. Their mussels took us to the moon. After the delicious lunch, we went together to Ghent to enjoy the tour their as well. In Ghent, we had one particular visit to a laces shop for Christmas gifts. I had bought for the accommodation room some lavender perfumes. Therefore I encourage you to book it and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere by lavender in the apartment.
The ride back to Brussels was an auspicious networking time for everyone on tour. I enjoy how people come from different background at the end of the day they get along, and one big happy family take shape.
