Sol w gol (صول وجول) is Arabic for the long journey to a particular place to explore through several short tours.

SolWGol is a service developed to meet the needs of tourists who want to expand their perceptions in the several axes: architecture, art, history, folk-stories, and what intersects between them. The page tries to provide academic material in a simplified language that one can understand without having to be a specialist in either field.

I was born as a paperless refugee in Sudan before the displacements took me to more than 200 cities across the world. Today,  I am an engineer architect and a filmmaker in VRT (the Belgian national TV) in architecture documentaries. I travel the world to collect the fragments of stories to recollect them into a new frame of understanding. The same structure of perception and several speed courses of architecture will include the backbone of this tour to build your knowledge. The same concept I will implement in the guided tours, we run in a hunt for pieces of the city’s story, and at the finish line,​ we will share our views and reflect the ideas together.
